From Hashtags to Hashtag Themes
When I first started branching out into the social media networks years ago, I knew what “hashtags” were, but I didn’t understand the benefit of them. And so, with me not having a good grasp on their purpose or how they could actually enhance what I was setting out to do, I just didn’t add hashtags to my posts that often. The concept just didn’t click for me very much at all.
When I did use them, particularly for the things that were important to me, it turned out that I would look for who else out there was using the same hashtags as I was. It was a bit accidental, but I began to experience that ultimately, if hashtags were used well and with meaningful intention, it would open conversations, encourage participation and turned out to be a terrific way for people to connect to each other within like-minded communities.
Since adding them to my posts much more often, I have been afforded an abundance of opportunities to cross paths with some very genuine, passionate people. For that I am truly grateful!
And then I began to participate in daily hashtag themes and I found even more terrific people to mingle with. The whole hashtag thing has been pleasantly surprising. 🙂
Hashtag Themes Inspired My Social Networking Interaction
Daily hashtag themes are an interesting and fun trend to participate in! One of the first and oldest, most recognizable hashtag themes is #followfriday or #FF which is posted on Fridays via Twitter. The #FF hashtag theme is used to to recommend accounts you enjoy following, so that other people can follow them too.
There are hashtag themes for just about every day of the week in all sorts of niche communities on Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr. My personal interests include topics about spirituality, personal development, lightwork, meditation, and posts related to psychics such as tarot and oracle cards.
The daily hashtag themes I have found which can apply to the spiritual, personal development and psychic circles are the following:
Monday
#MondayMotivation #MotivationMonday #MondayMantra #ManifestingMonday #MeditationMonday #MindfulMonday
Tuesday
#TarotTuesday #TaoTuesday #TuesdayTop5 #TuesdayTips #TipTuesday #InspirationTuesday
Wednesday
#WisdomWednesday #WednesdayWisdom #WellnessWednesday #WellnessWed
Thursday
#ThankfulThursday #ThanksList #ThirdEyeThursday #ThursdayThoughts
Friday
#FreeSpiritFriday #FortuneFriday #FridayFortune #FollowFriday #FF #FridayFeeling #FeelGoodFriday
Saturday
#SpiritualSaturday #SocialSaturday #SS
Sunday
#SoulfulSunday #SuperSoulSunday #SelfieSunday
Weekend
#WeekendWisdom #WeekendZen
In addition to the daily hashtag themes, I do use others that are relevant to my posts pretty often. In particular, the following hashtags offer me a chance to connect with people who share similar philosophies that I value. Others are personal interests that I engage with:
#compassion #kindness #LovingKindness #gratitude #happiness #inspiration #meditation #mindfulness
#tarot #oraclecard #quote #quoteoftheday #trovedaily
And of course if you’re talking about aura colors, I check #violetaura all the time! 🙂
I am in the process of adding more content to my newer social network accounts. With more people to share with, it will surely add some motivation and encouragement for me to get that content up sooner than later.

Feel free to follow me on any of my social networks! I am always so happy to find interesting people to follow, and likewise happy to add new followers who are interested in what I share!
Do you have other related daily hashtag themes to share for any of the days of the week? I’d love to know what is out there if you’re open to leaving a comment.
Blessings and thanks,
Violet
